Hold On, Hold On 2

Verse 1

Bare feet on a back porch swing

Watchin' the stars come out like gold

Countin' every breath so it don't fade

Your hand finds mine under the shade

Pre-Chorus

Hold on hold on

We're not done yet

Gold light flickers over us

You pull me back to this spot

Chorus

Hold on, hold on

Don't let go, I'm still yours

Golden hours won't wait for anyone

Hold on, hold on

Here we stay in gold

Golden hours won't wait for anyone

Hold on, hold on

This is what it's meant to be

Forever starts right now

Hold on

Verse 2

Moths keep circlin' the porch light

You tell me everythin' tonight

Gravel road dust still stuck in your hair

I never wanna leave this place

Your shoulder leans up against mine

Pre-Chorus

Hold on hold on

We're not done yet

Gold light flickers over us

You pull me back to this spot

Chorus

Hold on, hold on

Don't let go, I'm still yours

Golden hours won't wait for anyone

Hold on, hold on

Here we stay in gold

Golden hours won't wait for anyone

Hold on, hold on

This is what it's meant to be

Forever starts right now

Hold on

Bridge

Maybe this was never about the gold

Maybe it's just us we don't let go

Not the sun and not the night

Just me and you and this feeling tonight

No fade

No fading out

Keep hold of what we found

Chorus

Hold on, hold on

Don't let go, I'm still yours

Golden hours won't wait for anyone

Hold on, hold on

Here we stay in gold

Golden hours won't wait for anyone

Hold on, hold on

This is what it's meant to be

Forever starts right now

Hold on

Outro

Gold light fades to black

Hold on

Never let me go
