Lantern Dance of Three (Version 2)

Verse

We found a lantern on the floor so bright

A green one with a little string to hold tight

You asked me if we could make it spin around

I said watch closely and let's see what we find

Pre-Chorus

Hold it up against the light from above

Watch how the colors start to glow like love

Count to three, don't you dare to slow down

This lantern dance of ours is getting famous in this town

Chorus

Lantern dance, lantern shine so bright

Twirling round and round through all this delight

One, two, three, let it spin around

We're dancing with the lights that never frown

Verse

Now there's a yellow one with stripes of gold

It's wobbling on your finger like it never grows old

The red one has a spark in its eye so wide

I think this lantern dance might just take us on a ride

Bridge

It's not just the lantern, it's you and me

Making something magic out of thin air, can't you see?

Every twirl we take is a step towards fun

And every little light will chase the day until it's done

Chorus

Lantern dance, lantern shine so bright

Twirling round and round through all this delight

One, two, three, let it spin around

We're dancing with the lights that never frown

Outro

That was just one lantern, but I think we found

A whole parade of sparkles in this shining town

Keep on twirling round until they say 'goodnight

The lantern dance will always hold us tight
