Sneakers in the sand

Intro

Grab your favorite pair!

Verse 1

Sneakers in the sand, flip flops on my toes

Sun is shining down where we go

Run along the beach with every single wave

Catch a seagull flying overhead, yeah!

We'll build a castle tall and high up there

Collecting shells that twinkle like a star in air

Dance around the jellyfish umbrella too

My favorite day, I'm so glad to be here with you

Pre-Chorus

One more step, two more kicks on the sand

Let's keep it moving till our hands are made from band aids and sunburn hands!

Chorus

Sneakers in the sand, running wild and free

Making waves out of memories for me and thee!

We're chasing sunshine down this winding shore line

Sneakers in the sand, forever friends like a rhyme!

Sneakers in the sand, footprints on my heart

Making time stand still right from the very start!

Sunbeams landing soft upon your shoulder bone

Sneakers in the sand where our adventure has grown!

Verse 2

Life guard tower in the distance calls us back around

Ice cream trucks come rolling down the street with a sweet little sound

I catch your hand and we keep on running still

Collecting seashells in our pockets, making memories all the while

You throw a stone into the ocean blue

Watching ripples spread across the water too

I laugh at all your silly jokes so bold

Making sandcastles where our stories never grow old!

Bridge

No timer, no clock, just us and this day long

We're painting masterpieces with every step along

Your smile is my treasure hidden safe beneath the sun

Friends forever bound right here until we run!
