Hold the spark and spin around (Version 2)

Intro

Hold the spark in your hand

Verse 1 – female vocal

I found a button down on the street

Twinkling light inside where it's neat.

It whispered 'turn me round' in my ear

So I twirled and spun without a fear.

My shadow danced like a silly friend

Together we waltzed till the day would end

Chorus

Hold the spark and spin around

Watch your shadow do a happy sound.

Turn and turn until it’s dark outside

Hold the spark and let your spirit glide

Verse 2 – male vocal

Your grandma used to tell us stories true

Of fairies spinning round with lights anew.

She said when you find a secret glow

Just follow where it wants to go.

We twirled till our legs got slow

But still we sparkled like the stars up above

Pre-Chorus

Feel that sparkle start to rise...

Hold on tight and let your heart surprise

Chorus

Hold the spark and spin around

Watch your shadow do a happy sound.

Turn and turn until it’s dark outside

Hold the spark and let your spirit glide

Bridge

Maybe the spark is not just one thing

It's how we move and how our hearts sing.

Twirl with me through day or night

And keep that spark alight

Chorus

Hold the spark and spin around

Watch your shadow do a happy sound.

Turn and turn until it’s dark outside

Hold the spark and let your spirit glide
