Perimeter of Self lyrics
Verse
Fence line drawn around my skin
Floor counts how close the strangers press in
Every step redraws the wall
Perimeter shrinks until it's gone at all
Pre-Chorus
Where does mine end, where does yours begin
Grid can't tell the skin from skin
Chorus
Perimeter of self
Erased by the crowd
Perimeter of self
Dissolves in the sound
Verse
Shoulder to shoulder, the border bends
Motion sensor loses where I end
Heat map spreads, one single shape
Nobody left to hold the edge in place
Pre-Chorus
Where does mine end, where does yours begin
Grid can't tell the skin from skin
Chorus
Perimeter of self
Erased by the crowd
Perimeter of self
Dissolves in the sound
Bridge
No fence left standing
No line to defend
Floor reads one body
From wall to wall to end
Chorus
Perimeter of self
Erased by the crowd
Perimeter of self
Dissolves in the sound
