Before the Sun Finds Us lyrics
Intro
Blue light on the window
Breath still slow
Verse
Your wrist against my collarbone
Cold glass fogging where we lean
Streetlamp flickers, holds its glow
One more hour we haven't seen
Pre-Chorus
We keep the dark a little longer
We let the silence pull us under
Hands stay tangled, hearts stay quiet
Nothing moves till morning tries it
Chorus
Before the sun finds us
Before the sun finds us
We stay still, we stay close
Before the sun finds us
Verse
Heartbeat slows to match the room
Sheets still warm from where we lay
Shadows stretch across the floor
Counting down the dark away
Pre-Chorus
We keep the dark a little longer
We let the silence pull us under
Hands stay tangled, hearts stay quiet
Nothing moves till morning tries it
Chorus
Before the sun finds us
Before the sun finds us
We stay still, we stay close
Before the sun finds us
Bridge
Grey turns gold along the wall
Light creeps in, we hold it back
One more breath before it all
Slips through the cracks
Chorus
Before the sun finds us
Before the sun finds us
We stay still, we stay close
Before the sun finds us
Outro
Blue light fading on the floor
We stay
Just a little more
