Crowd as Second Skin lyrics
Verse
Shoulder locks to shoulder here
Heat moves sideways, skin to skin
Can't find the edge where I begin
Sweat runs down a stranger's spine
Reads like it could pass for mine
Pre-Chorus
Press gets tighter, floor gets small
No border left to lose at all
Chorus
Crowd is my skin now
Skin is the crowd
I end where they end
No edge allowed
Verse
Elbow finds my ribs, stays there
Bassline moves us like one lung
Someone's pulse beats where mine begun
Can't tell whose hand this heat became
Skin forgets its own name
Pre-Chorus
Press gets tighter, floor gets small
No border left to lose at all
Chorus
Crowd is my skin now
Skin is the crowd
I end where they end
No edge allowed
Bridge
Peel me out
There's no line
Every shoulder
Wears the sign
Skin gave up
The shape it had
Now the room
Wears me back
Chorus
Crowd is my skin now
Skin is the crowd
I end where they end
No edge allowed
