Fairy dust in my pockets (Version 2)

Verse

I found some fairy dust in my pocket today

It's been here for a while, but I never knew what it could play

I ran outside and watched it sparkle bright

Into the sunlight, like a tiny, shimmering light

The breeze picked up and danced with every spark

Twirling round my shoulders where the magic left its mark

Pre-Chorus

Something's happening down in here

My heart is filling up with fairy dust air

Chorus

Fairy dust in my pockets, sparkling magic to share

I'm a sunflower growing taller everywhere

Wish upon me, watch it start to glow

Fairy dust in my pockets, let the magic grow

Verse

A dragonfly landed on my shoulder blade

He whispered secrets that only fairy dust can trade

The clouds turned pink and turned orange too

I felt like I could fly straight into the moon or two

My feet left the ground for a second or two

I soared up high with nothing to do but feel it true

Pre-Chorus

Something's happening down in here

My heart is filling up with fairy dust air

Chorus

Fairy dust in my pockets, sparkling magic to share

I'm a sunflower growing taller everywhere

Wish upon me, watch it start to glow

Fairy dust in my pockets, let the magic grow

Bridge

Every leaf on every tree is winking at me now

Every star up in the sky is shining just for me somehow

The world has turned into a storybook page

I'm turning pages with fairy dust on every stage

Chorus

Fairy dust in my pockets, sparkling magic to share

I'm a sunflower growing taller everywhere

Wish upon me, watch it start to glow

Fairy dust in my pockets, let the magic grow
