Float (Stay Loose) lyrics
Intro
Weight leaves the ankles first
Floor holds what the bones let go
Verse
Knees forget the ground is there
Arms drift up like they caught a current
Nothing pulling, nothing holding
Just the hum and the low return
Pre-Chorus
Gravity loosens its grip on me
Nowhere left that I need to land
Chorus
Float, stay loose
Float, stay loose
Body light, time undone
Float, stay loose
Verse
Shoulders melt into the low end
Spine goes soft where the bass line bends
Feet still move but they don't remember
Only the drift, only the drift
Pre-Chorus
Gravity loosens its grip on me
Nowhere left that I need to land
Chorus
Float, stay loose
Float, stay loose
Body light, time undone
Float, stay loose
Bridge
No up, no down here
Just the room and the sound here
Held by nothing but the beat
Held by nothing, held complete
Chorus
Float, stay loose
Float, stay loose
Body light, time undone
Float, stay loose
Outro
Weight stays gone
Weight stays gone
Floating on
