Losing the shape we know (Version 2)

Intro

Feet on the floor

Hands up high

Verse 1 – male vocal, warm and intimate

Every beat pulls me closer to the sound

I lose myself in every fading note around

The world outside is melting into white

Your hand finds mine under neon light

Pre-Chorus

Can you feel it rising through our skin?

Is this where we let go of what's been?

Chorus

Losing the shape we know, losing it slow

Feet off the floor, let the rhythm take control

This is how we break free from what's holding us down

Underneath these lights and colors spinning round

Verse 2 – male vocal, warm and intimate

We've been chasing shadows on the wall for years

But nothing moves like this, nothing clears up all our tears

Every step I take into this fading haze

I'm a little more undone, a little less in chains

Pre-Chorus

Can you feel it rising through our skin?

Is this where we let go of what's been?

Chorus

Losing the shape we know, losing it slow

Feet off the floor, let the rhythm take control

This is how we break free from what's holding us down

Underneath these lights and colors spinning round

Bridge – female vocal, ethereal and soft

Not yours or mine but this one single sound

Where every doubt gets lost in a circle spinning round

Chorus

Losing the shape we know, losing it slow

Feet off the floor, let the rhythm take control

This is how we break free from what's holding us down

Underneath these lights and colors spinning round
