Sundown Liturgy

Verse

Sun drops low behind the speaker stack

Last gold catching on my back

Soles read the pulse the floor lets go

Ribs crack open, let it flow

Dust hangs thick in the fading beam

Every hand lifts, no in-between

Horizon burns where the bassline hums

The whole floor breathes as the light comes

Pre-Chorus

Is it dusk or the drum in my chest

Current climbing, I forget the rest

Chorus

Sundown liturgy

Burning through my skin

Sundown liturgy

Let the current in

Verse

Shadows stretch long across the tile

Congregation swaying, single file

Palms turned up like antennas bare

Catching voltage out of thinning air

The horns fold into the amber haze

Bodies tuned to the same slow blaze

Nobody speaks it, everyone knows

This is the hour the current grows

Pre-Chorus

Is it dusk or the drum in my chest

Current climbing, I forget the rest

Chorus

Sundown liturgy

Burning through my skin

Sundown liturgy

Let the current in

Bridge

Sun goes under, dark rolls through

But the charge stays lit, I carry the hue

No more horizon, no more line

The current's mine now, I'm the shine

Chorus

Sundown liturgy

Burning through my skin

Sundown liturgy

Let the current in
